Consider A Cruise To New Brunswick For Your Next Vacation

Regardless of your individual reasons for wanting to go on a cruise for your next vacation, you should consider going to New Brunswick. If you are looking for a place that is going to leave you breathless from the beauty, or a destination that is going to have wildlife living comfortably in their own natural habitats, New Brunswick is for you.

Normally, people think if they are going to plan a cruise they have to go quite a distance to enjoy themselves. However, there are great places that do not require you to travel too long to find fun. In New Brunswick you will be able to get away from the torturous summer heat and enjoy yourself alone or with someone else.

Traveling to Canada on a cruise vacation has recently grown in popularity. Among the many spots of interest in Canada is Campobello Island which is just off of the coast of New Brunswick. The scenery is picturesque as you might find yourself gazing at the landscape and lighthouse in awe. The majority of travelers to the Campobello Island enjoy staying in the Lighthouse Inn. This is a quaint location that has nine rooms for guests to enjoy the peace and quiet. These cozy rooms offer an ocean view with service that is pleasant and convenient.

In the Bay of Fundy you can view the flower pot rocks. These natural rock formations were made from the bay, as the currents gracefully formed these elegant sights. They have a resemblance to clay flowerpots and because there are trees that grow from within these natural formations, they are a must see for every traveler.

Generally, if you are traveling to New Brunswick on your cruise you will be porting at Saint John. You should make it a top priority to take in some of the local shops while you are there. Although, you want to save time to visit the local museums. For a local shopping experience you should visit the Market Square. Here you can eat the foods of New Brunswick and if you are visiting during July, you might have the pleasure of attending the Loyalist Day Festival.

The festival is a reenactment of the United Empire Loyalists in 1783. The local wear costumes which can often make you forget the time period you are actually in. There is a local antique fair and a parade for your enjoyment. If you visit New Brunswick in August, you can enjoy the Festival by the Sea. For this gathering you will have the pleasure of the first hand experience of many local performers as well as international ones coming together to entertain everyone. You can also visit the Buskers on the Boardwalk festival. This one has magic, music and mimes on the boardwalk. As you can tell, there is plenty of activities and events to keep you busy throughout your entire vacation.
